Dex Hollow aims to ensure satisfaction with every beat purchase; this Refund Policy explains eligibility, timelines, and how to request a refund for digital products.
Because beats are digital downloads that cannot be “returned,” refunds are limited to specific situations described below, consistent with common digital‑goods standards.
1. Refund Eligibility
a. Refunds will only be issued for the following reasons:
• The beat purchased is defective or unusable (e.g., corrupted file, non‑functional download)
• The wrong beat was delivered compared to the order confirmation
• Accidental double‑orders of the same beat/license on the same account
b. Refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:
• Change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction with the beat after access/download
• Failure to read the beat description, understand the licensing terms, or confirm compatibility before purchase
2. Refund Process
a. To request a refund, contact Dex Hollow within 5 days of the purchase date and include order details and a clear description of the issue; requests outside this window may be denied
b. Dex Hollow may request additional information or evidence (e.g., audio files, screenshots, download logs) to validate the request and troubleshoot the issue
c. Refunds are granted at Dex Hollow’s discretion based on policy eligibility, evidence provided, and compliance with this Refund Policy
3. Refund Method and Timing
a. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction unless otherwise required by law or payment network rules
b. Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days of approval; actual posting times may vary by bank or payment provider
4. Non‑Refundable Items
a. Customized beats or beats produced to customer specifications are non‑refundable once production has begun due to the personalized nature of the work
b. Exclusive rights purchases are non‑refundable once the license agreement has been signed and delivery has been made, given the transfer of exclusivity and the non‑returnable nature of digital assets
5. License Termination on Refund
If a refund is issued for a beat purchase, the associated license immediately terminates and all use must cease; any uploads or distributions must be removed, and stored files (including stems/HQ files) must be deleted without delay.
6. Exchanges or Re‑delivery
Where feasible, Dex Hollow may offer a file re‑delivery or exchange (e.g., correct version of the beat) instead of a refund when the issue can be resolved by replacement or re‑provisioning of the digital file
7. Fraud, Abuse, and Chargebacks
Dex Hollow reserves the right to deny or reverse refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, or policy violations, and may suspend account access pending investigation.
8. How to Submit a Request
To request a refund or ask questions about this policy, email Dex Hollow at [email protected] with the order number, purchase date, and a description of the issue (and any supporting files/screenshots).
9. Policy Changes
Dex Hollow may modify or update this Refund Policy at any time; updates take effect upon posting, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
